Portrait Commision
Today was a slightly strange day art-wise. A neighbor girl came by asking me to draw a picture of her to use as an invitation to her birthday party. Portraits are NOT my stong point, but how could I turn down a nearly 10-year-old? I did my best and colored it with Prismacolor pencils...she was tickled, so I figure she is a satisfied customer (noooooo I didn't charge her). The odd thing is, her mouth really is that wide in her face!

I love the idea of having a hand drawn portrait (or any picture) for b'day invites. As always, I admire your drawings.
