100 Posts!!! and a Freebie

To celebrate my 100th Post, I am going to give a lucky commenter an original piece of art by me as a 'thank you' for supporting me and my efforts (all of them). EDM Challenge #183

This week's challenge was to draw Something Dangerous. since the heat wave we suffered recently made me so sick I couldn't do any art, I decided that Heat was my Dangerous subject. This is a bit more graphic-oriented than I usually do, but it felt appropriate.

Heat Drain and Art

Unfortunately, I have finally surrendered to the heat. I have been so weakened, I have not been able to concentrate on art. Our air conditioner leaks out freon about every two days, but they fill it back up about every 4-5 days. Any further art will be very sporadic. I'll be taking advantage of fresh fillups.

Post 100 and EDM Challenge #26

I just noticed that I am almost ready to make my 100th post! In honor of that, everyone who posts a comment (even just to say 'hi') on the 100th post will be eligible for a drawing for a piece of art by me.

Today's Challenge was to draw anything I wanted, so I did a watercolor pencil sketch of an unusual red pansy photographed by a friend of mine.

Draw a glass. This is just an old-fashioned HEAVY glass you could hit someone with, knock them out, and not damage the glass. :)
