Tracey at Fred, She Said is hosting a card making challenge to celebrate World Card Making Day. All you had to do is make a card using her designs. I started with her dahlia outline set and colored the flower parts and leaves with Inktense water-soluable pencils. I then used a freebie paper piercing pattern on a piece of her new pinstripe paper in peach. The flowers and leaves are folded for a dimensional effect and stacked for a further 3-d result. The brown and gold cardstock came from my stash and I antiqued the finished piece with brown dye ink applied with a stiff bristle brush.

Love it, Carolyn! It's beautiful. I just bought a 24 set of inktense pencils... I am really getting into watercoloring lately! But these pencils are different... still getting used to them. Thanks so much for entering the FSS WCMD Challenge :)
Carolyn, this is so beautiful! I just love the look of these FSS flowers! great job!
Blessings, Maria
